"Why keep an alarm when you never GET UP?!" I shouted at Priti who is still sleeping, she didn't even budge a little same goes with Kyra who slept on the left and Virin crashed on the makeshift bed on the floor.

I never hate my friends except for these times when I am the only one to get up to the alarm. "OY! Are you going to get up or not, it's already the 4th ring now!" I pushed Priti on the shoulder. "Yeah, wait for the 6th ring, then I'll go to the gym", she mumbled still dozing away.

It was the 10th ring when they all got up and went home. As soon as they left I got up to look in the journal I kept safe yesterday, I never got the chance to read since then. Let's do this. I sat at the table and opened it.

As I tried to unfold his secrets all I was left with an EMPTY JOURNAL?!!. Is he kidding me? Why fight for this when there is nothing?! I even got my reading glasses bitch! There has to be something, give me something!

I tried to go through every page and then I found a picture of a naked kid struggling to get down a tree. Is this it? This was what he did all that for? This guy! Maybe this is why he didn't say anything throughout the dinner when he sat beside me. I was frowning looking at the picture when a voice startled me "Whose picture is that?"

"God! Abhi, you should have at least knocked", I groaned still a bit jumpy from sudden intrusion. "You haven't answered my question," he asked again. I quickly kept it in the journal and tried to divert him "Forget about it and first you tell me why didn't you come to the movie yesterday?" I asked him, dragging him away from the book.

"To get you this", he said taking out the bracelet I lost yesterday. "Wait, How? I searched for it the whole day", I asked him thrilled to see the bracelet again. "I know, that's why I didn't give up and searched for it all night", he said putting on the bracelet.

"Aww, I love you", I let out not thinking about it much. He stopped what he was doing and looked at me with this intense look. He then cleared his throat and said, "I messaged everyone to meet us at Wolf cafe for brunch". I was more than happy that he shifted the mood.

"So, coming for brunch love birds?" Came Darsh, probably waiting to drive with us. Love birds? I rolled my eyes and told them to wait outside.

"Any changes since yesterday?", asked Priti as we sat at our usual table near the window. "Forget it, your cousin called me and Abhi lovebirds! Can you believe that?" I burst out still muttering.

Kyra let out a smile like a lunatic and said, "Maybe he was jealous, what were you two doing for Darsh to say that anyway?". You are the jealous one, I thought laughing and said that he was just putting on the bracelet. I find it amusing that Kyra is smitten with Abhi and never comes out. If only we had our happy endings this summer.

"Let's plan for something this weekend, I feel like we are just wasting our summer. Moreover, you all are leaving for college this year", I said crushed to even think they all are leaving at once. Abhi is the only one stuck with me to complete our senior year as these four are a year older than us.

"Hmm not a bad idea, let's go to my farmhouse for not just the weekend but the whole week", suggested Abhi. We all agreed and planned what to do for a whole week while eating. We headed out and went separate ways to pack for the hopefully fantastic week.

Convince the parents and be ready by 7 am tomorrow. Gosh, I wish Mom is in good mood. I was waiting for the lift lost in thoughts. "You better give back that picture", said Darsh as he came and stood beside me. "Hmm, come with me after we get down", I said getting inside the lift.

He is not even talking about yesterday. All he is concerned about is a stupid picture when we almost got intimate. What was I expecting, a confession? Huh! This is reality, not a cliche dream. "Yeah this is reality and you are the one who just confessed", I was left horrified and all the blood left my face as Darsh said those words. I just said that all loud?!

"Wow! You should get an Oscar for that expression right now. I know, You are not that naive to just blurt out like that", he said raising a brow while smirking. Well, need to work on my skills then.
