JACKSON’S POV

The air smelled of damp earth and sweat, the scent of the younger wolves still lingering where they’d sparred before heading in for dinner. Their laughter had faded, swallowed by the quiet hum of crickets and the distant rustle of leaves.

I leaned against the rough wooden post, my fingers tracing the splinters absently. The weight of the day pressed against my shoulders, but I wasn’t ready to go inside yet. Not when my thoughts were still tangled, restless.

Then I felt him—my father’s presence, steady and solid beside me. He didn’t speak at first. Just stood there, arms crossed, his gaze fixed on the far end of the field where Alex and Laila were still messing around.

She tossed a practice blade, and Alex caught it with a grin, saying something that made Laila bark out a laugh. A knot twisted in my chest. He fits here. Damn him, he actually fits.

“I’ll admit,” Dad finally muttered, his voice low, gravelly with thought. “He’s not what I expected.”

I let out a rough exhale

  • Loved By The Lycan King    0181: Ainsley Family Approves

KAREN’S POVThe room was bathed in soft light, the kind that softened edges and made the world feel hushed, like it was holding its breath. I lay curled beneath the thick blanket, the weight of Jackson’s arm wrapped over me, his chest pressed warm against my back. His breath was slow and steady against the nape of my neck, a rhythm I had memorized by now—each exhale a quiet reassurance that he was here, that we were safe. The window was cracked open just enough to let in the scent of damp earth and pine, the aftermath of an evening rain. The air was cool, almost crisp, carrying with it the faintest whisper of the forest beyond. It was the kind of quiet I had only ever known in Shadow Moon—deep and unbroken, the kind that settled into your bones. But here, in Blue Cross Pack territory, it felt different. Fragile. Like it could shatter if I breathed too loudly.I turned my head slightly, taking in the room around us. The bed was small, the mattress lumpy beneath us, the sheets thin from

  • Loved By The Lycan King    0180: Reborn Alpha

LAILA’S POVI watched Alex carefully, the light in his eyes softer now, clearer. It was hard to believe this was the same man I met months ago—bruised by his father’s cruelty, caged by fear and duty. Back then, he was a man shackled by shadows. Now… he stood tall, even if slightly swaying from exhaustion and bruises, a leader reborn.I was proud of him. Immensely proud. The strength it took to stand up to his father, to break free of that dark legacy—not everyone could do it. But he did. And he did it not for glory or revenge, but for his people. For a better future. He caught me watching him and gave a tired smile. “Would you… like to come inside?”I hesitated—not because I didn’t want to, but because I knew I had to ask first.Even though he was my mate, even though our bond was real and deep, I was still a minor in our world. And rules were rules. I looked to my father and Jackson.Jackson met my gaze, understanding and trust in his eyes. He gave a short nod. My father—Alpha Xavier

  • Loved By The Lycan King    0179:First Act As An Alpha

ALEX’S POVThe moment Jackson shoved me out of the way, everything slowed. I watched in stunned disbelief as Grayson’s claws missed me by a breath—only to tear into Jackson instead. And Jackson—gods—didn’t even flinch. He moved with ruthless precision, twisting away and slicing Grayson’s throat open with one clean, savage motion.Grayson’s eyes widened in shock, choking on his own blood as he dropped to his knees… then collapsed. Dead. Just like that.I didn’t move for a second. I couldn’t. Because for the first time in my life—he was gone. The man who ruled my world through violence and manipulation. The tyrant who tried to mold me into his image. The father who never saw me as enough unless I bled for him.Grayson. Dead. And Noah… my brother, gone too.I should’ve felt grief. But what I felt… was relief. Pure, gut-wrenching relief. Like a chain had been ripped from my chest. The door burst open with a crash, splinters flying.I turned just as Logan, my Beta, came storming in—and beh

  • Loved By The Lycan King    0178:To End A Tyrant

JACKSON’S POVThe world narrowed to the pounding of my heart as I tore through the hallways, blood roaring in my ears, each step a promise. Smoke curled in the air, and the scent of battle clung to my skin—but I barely noticed. All I saw was red. All I felt was the rage burning in my chest. He took her. He hurt my mate. And now… I was going to end him.Grayson’s study door loomed ahead—still intact, untouched. Coward.I didn’t hesitate. With a roar, I slammed my shoulder into the heavy wood. It cracked off its hinges and burst open with a satisfying crash. Papers flew, books tumbled from shelves, and Grayson, seated behind his polished desk, looked up with the calm arrogance of a man who thought he still had the upper hand.“Ah,” he said, slowly rising, adjusting the cuffs of his shirt like we were about to have a damn business meeting. “The little pup finally finds his bite.”I stalked toward him, fists clenched, my wolf snarling just beneath the surface.“You made a mistake,” I said

ALEX’S POVI took a good look at Noah standing there now that we were face to face. His hair was longer than I remembered, tied messily at the back. Same arrogant stance, same twisted smirk on his face. Like he was proud of what he’d done, like he was ready to finish what he started months ago.“You came back,” he sneered, shrugging off his jacket. “Didn’t think you had it in you, brother.”I took a slow step forward, my claws already out, my wolf scratching just beneath the surface. I didn’t come back. I came to end this.He laughed. “End what, exactly? Your miserable existence once and for all?”I didn’t reply. Talking to him was like talking to poison.“You should’ve stayed gone,” he said, circling me now like a predator. “Father was going to let you rot, but you just had to crawl your way back into our lives. Thought you could be some hero?”“No,” I said, stepping into his path. “I don’t need to be a hero. I just need to stop a monster.”Claws clashed with a screech of metal again

KAREN’SThe sting on my cheek burned hot, and my vision blurred as I spat out blood onto the freezing floor. My whole body trembled—not from fear, but from rage.Alpha Grayson loomed in front of me, cold eyes locked on mine as he repeated the demand I’d heard too many times already. My cheek stung from the slap, my vision blurry as I spat blood on the cold floor. My body trembled, but it wasn’t fear—it was fury.“If you don’t give me what I want,” he said with cold eyes, “I’ll kill you before your precious mate Jackson even gets a whiff of where you are.”“I’d rather die than help you,” I spat back. The back of Noah’s hand struck me so hard my head whipped to the side. Pain burst across my face as I dropped to my knees. Grayson didn’t even flinch.“If she continues this attitude,” Grayson muttered as he turned to Noah, “end her.”Then he walked out like I was nothing more than trash.Noah crouched in front of me, eyes glinting with something dark and twisted. “You heard the man.
