Unexpected information and usual habits

I cracked my eyes open and was almost blinded by the light rays streaming from the bay window, I instantly squeezed my eyes shut, feeling like my eyes had been pierced with several pins.

I slowly opened my eyes again, finally adjusting to the brightness. I winced when a stabbing pain struck my head, I massaged my aching head soothingly trying to somehow reduce the pain.

I silently thanked God when I recognized my surroundings as Madison's guest room which was now my room. Thank God Liam brought me home, I have to thank him for this later.

My head felt like a cement block as I struggled to get out of bed, I gave up on trying as I groaned and fell back to the bed. My whole body felt like I'd been run over by a bus. Hungover is a bitch.

I shakily reached for the water and Tylenol on the bedside stand, I swallowed the medicine and gulped down the rest of the water to assuage my thirst.

My eyes fluttered close as some of yesterday's memories took over my mind, they weren't matching
