"A whole month is way too long for somebody as busy as you, Sirius. Are you sure your management approved of this long leave or you ran away?" I asked, eyeing him suspiciously that morning while we were having our very first breakfast together in Paris in my bedroom veranda.

His eyes slightly widened and looked away from me. I glared at him playfully 'cause he looked like a criminal caught in his own crime.

"What now? Are you ditching your work 'cause you miss me so much?" I teased and he rolled his eyes before aggressively slicing a part of his waffle.

"You wish. You're not that special. I'm here for the wonderful and handsome French men of Paris," he defended himself while munching on his food in irritation.

I shrugged and sipped on my coffee. "Just because this is the city of love, doesn't mean it'll be easy to find yourself a love. The locals are very rude. But anyway, good luck to that. Any plans for today?"
