Ch17: Best friend visit

Jerry sighed as if thinking of strategies on how to explain to Rex what really is Cherry’s condition which won’t result in a fire outbreak at the hospital. He needed to be tactical or Rex would put all the hit on him. What he didn’t understand was why would Rex Angelo put his reputation at stake for an ordinary girl and why did he want her out of danger?

“The truth here is that there might be a fifty percent chance she might wake up and a fifty percent chance she might go into coma.” He pursed his lip. “And if she recovers normally as we hope and she wakes up there might be some slight complications with her health or just the injury.”

“What sort of complications?” Rex demanded without sitting on the chair. He wanted fast answers and assurance Cherry would be better

“My predictions and analysis say she might suffer severe head trauma and if that occurs she would have to be placed into a temporary coma to prevent other major crisis or worse death.”
