Chapter Twenty-Four: Land of Euphoria

I couldn't help but snicker when I heard the security of the hotel at our door. I guess I was that loud that they had to come to see what was wrong. Wrapping the sheet over my naked frame, Adam got redressed and went to answer the door.
“Is anyone hurt, sir? We heard complaints from passers-by and people in the hotel who said they heard a woman screaming.”
“I am sorry about that; my girlfriend had a bad dream and woke up screaming. I am so sorry about that.” I heard Adam telling him. I didn't hear any more talking and the door was closed shortly after, so I assumed he had left. Coming back to where I was, Adam had a smirk on his face.
