Miranda exclaimed when she saw Luca and me entering the house with Katya in his arms. She instantly had tears in her eyes and came to greet me.

"Fix up my room, change the sheets. I also want you to prepare Emma's former room for my daughter, Katya," Luca said proudly, and she nodded immediately with joy.

"Welcome home, Madam," she greeted me, and I felt her joy. She took Katya from Luca, and Luca carried me bridal style, which made me giggle. He carried me to the living room couch, and we laughed. The light was back in his eyes, and I was glad to be a part of it.

"Not much has changed," I said, looking around. I never imagined that I would be back in his home. The day I left was painful, filled with anxiety and fear.

"It has been lifeless since you left." He said on a serious note and looked at me. We kissed passionately, and he was trying to get me out of my clothes when I stopped him, giggling at the same time.
