Arcangelo's POV

"Release her" I ordered to one of my men and he did. I could have told Luca but I didn't. I didn't like the way he offered her a glass of water when she was about to break. Was I jealous? No. I wasn't. I was just angry that he could have ruined my plan. If she didn't break, she wouldn't have said yes to the competition.

Once she was free she stood up shakily and I saw Luca who took a slight step in her direction almost like he wanted to help her and I glared at him.

I went to her and took her hand and started dragging her outside of the room. At the entrance, I angrily punched my thumb and the door opened and I took her to the main hall. Where Savia was already cleaning.

"Nonna, take her to her room. She is the guest I talked about. Make sure she is comfortable there." I said and she nodded with a smile and left. I have already sent the reminder to all staying that they are not allowed to talk about the competition of the mafia queen with her. This girl is smart... I h

my opinion is it could maybe work but he needs to let go of his ego and expect things as they are, and also trust his feelings and learn to deal with them or figure out how to express them especially if they have a connection of any sort.
