CHAPTER CCXC: SAVED BY THE PRINCE

Angela's POV

"Now, stand next to the horse's left front leg," Lucifer commanded me and so I walked towards the horse's left front leg. "Then put the reins over his head and hold onto the reins to keep him still while you mount."

With my heart beating so fast because of how nervous I was, I did everything that he said. Lucifer also held the horse for me as I mounted. I was holding onto the reins during the entire mounting process. "Put your left foot in the stirrup," he added.

"O-Okay..." 

Lucifer interlaced his fingers and created a 'basket' for my knee. I put my knee in his hands and he gave me a boost onto the horse. "Place both of your feet in the stirrups and sit down gently."

"L-Like this?"

"Uh-huh. Sit up straight and hold the reigns."

"I-I understand."

I suddenly heard him chuckle so I looked at him, "W-Why are you laughing?" 

"You look really nervous," he said, still smiling.
