Snuggling further into the sheets, the faint rumble of thunder came through the tent. A breeze blew the flap open, causing a steady wind to hit my bare legs. Snuggling further, hoping that Luci would pull the flap shut, another gust of angry breezes pushed the blanket off me. I wanted to growl, wondering where Luci was. He wasn’t near me at all, and the pillows were scattered across the room entirely.
Where could he have gone?
I was dressed in a small, black silky nightdress. The straps continued to fall as I slowly stood up. Candles around the room went out blankly as I stood.
