Jason's Pov

“Don't play around with your food bean” I corrected Adriana again for the third time. Ares has just been watching us argue back and forth about the food for the last minute.

“You should listen to your Dad baby. It's bad to play with food” Ares said to Adriana who immediately became docile. My daughter no longer obeys me, she has a new captain. I chose to ignore it.

I watch them converse as they eat. Like mother and daughter. Best friends. I lock this memory somewhere in my mind. If all else goes bad, I can go back to this moment.
