A strangers help

"...we can't find anyone here Sir." One of the vampires reported. The minute Blade heard that, he moved quickly towards Juliana's father — Michael, being extremely blood-thirsty, he bent Micheal's neck and with his elongated fangs, he sapped Michael's blood, groaning with delight and satisfaction. Michael, in those moments, began to jerk uncontrollably. He kept jerking until he gave up the ghost. Juliana kept her eyes fixed on each one of them and memorized their faces as she quit watching the video, erasing it from her email.

"Find them, kill them all!" Her inner wolf voice came again, feeling impatient to manifest and tasty for blood and she desired to know why she could audibly hear the voice in her head.

The airplane landed safely in the port of Paris, the capital city of France, where she spent five years of her life before her parents sent her away to Malaysia.

"Welcome, this way please." A lady in uniform smiled at her while directing the people to an exit provided. Juliana quickly forced a smile at her as well, because the lady had her eyes fixed on her all the while she was approaching the exit door, although there were so many people trying to leave too. She took off her cap immediately as her eyes caught sight of a very handsome, dark-haired, moderately seductive, tall and fair-skined young man who from a distance appeared to be walking up to her. Deep inside, she could hear her heart yearning to have him speak to her, and she wished the guy approaching her would really stop to say something to her, but then, she again recalled she had no one around and was not expecting any family to welcome her home from the airport, so she looked away immediately because her eyes also made contact with his eyes.

"Hello gorgeous." The juicy honeyed dulcet tone of his voice echoed pleasantly in her ears. She felt like dying inside her to know who this guy was already. She did not hesitate to reply back to him, for he was her wish already,

"Hello... Do I know you?" She asked, wobbling and blinking her eyelids as if she had seen him before somewhere and was trying to recall.

"Nope, I don't think we have met before, but the looks in your eyes tells me you are new here, and need someone at least to get you to your desired destination. I am Killer Frost..." He spoke yet again with this low singsong voice which made Juliana almost speechless, and literally dying to know more about him. She felt this strong connection between both of them and the way he spoke was quite familiar...

"Were you sent to guide me to my place?" She sputtered and instantly felt like 'gosh... what am I saying'. She almost bowed her head feeling shy and wishing she could take back those words as quickly as possible, before he gave her a reply to her question. He immediately raised her face up to look at him with his hand placed beneath her chin because he knew she was not confident in her speech. He knew that very moment that she needed care and her facial expressions proved to be in need of a friend and of support.

"No, I'm not, but then I can be your guardian angel if you want." He joked and slowly took his hand off her chin and back into his pocket.

"Oh, really!" She smiled and had her heart begin to experience this sudden inflow of happiness that replaced the anger in her heart at the moment.

"Give me that." Killer ordered in a gentle manner, offering to help. She was speechless at his kindness and, at the same time, her memories reflected back to her childhood days. She recalled her best childhood friend and how kind he was then to her before they got separated after her parents flew her to Malaysia. Now, she felt Killer Frost was doing the same thing, bringing back the bliss of Paris's atmosphere, something she had missed a lot more than anything else. She wished she could remember the name of that boy from years ago, also wishing she could find him again and fulfill her promise to never leave him.

"Thank you." she whispered, and with her eyes fixed on him, she wished she could touch his hair already because it looked more like that of her childhood friend's: glowing black hair...

"So, are you going to tell me your name or what?" He asked lusciously to make her introduce herself already. His musical voice brought her out of her delusional thoughts instantly...

"I'm Juliana, nice meeting you here. Thought you were heading somewhere?" She asked, wondering why he was helping her with her bag and heading towards the car park instead of going into the airport as she had thought, because he initially looked like someone going in and not trying to come out...

"I was, then I saw you from a distance and I decided to come over and lend you a hand because you look familiar of course." Killer snarked while pressing the button on the car key he held in his right hand... She seldom took his last words into consideration to ask why he thought she looked familiar. Rather,

"Lend me a hand... Do you always do that to strangers or it's just me?" She entreated, wobbling to know more because already she was beginning to feel very special at first until he said those words... She felt that a guy like him who would just walk up to her and do her a favor without her having to beg for it was rare, and to crown it all, he was very handsome in her sight and should be the one waiting for ladies to chase after him.

"No I don't. Let's say something attracted me to you and, from afar, you look lonely and I have the ability to sense that." He chortled, throwing her bag on the back seat behind them and, with his left hand, he shut the door before placing both hands on the steering wheel.

She frowned, feeling she really wasn't so special to him as she had imagined. Deep down, she could feel her heart beating to know him more... Could it be that she had found that love of her life from way back to her childhood days?
