Pain

"Hello, Juliana, check your inbox quickly!" Nicholas gasped... He was probably running away from someone who had been following hard on his tail.

"Who is this please...?" Juliana asked, wondering whose voice it was and why the insistence in his tone... But before she could finish talking, she noticed he had already hung up the call. She went into her apartment and shut the door to keep her friends out of it because she was with them and discussing the school project before she received that stranger's call.

Her full name is Juliana Da Vinci. She lived in Malaysia for twelve years and some months, schooling in one of the best universities and about to finish her course of law, when she received a message from Nicholas, who was a family friend and the closest person to her parents who were residing in Paris: a message that was about to change everything.

When she opened the message and found out it was a video recording of how her parents had been murdered, she wailed bitterly for an hour and half on the floor next to her bed. She ignored the knock on the door to her room after picking up the tablet again to watch the video. Her eyes turned red and, at the same time, she looked startled because she saw her mother transform into a wolf and fight for half an hour with the people who came against her and her husband (Juliana's dad). But these brutal visitors were more in number and vampires by nature... Juliana watched them kill her mother in cold blood and held her father in chains, bound to a chair before sapping him dry to death. After watching the video, she picked up a pen from the table and wrote down the names of everyone of them whose names were mentioned in the course of watching the video before getting up to open the door.

"Juliana, what the f**k!..." Her friend yelled as she walked in, but soon realized that Juliana was looking sad... She did not bother saying a word to her friend but picked up her bag and left the room... That was about the last time her friend was probably going to see her face in school because she was heading to the airport to board a flight to Paris. From the video she watched, she perceived that the reason why her parents sent her to Malaysia at a very tender age must have been to keep her safe from these men and not necessarily because she was close to a little boy she mostly spent her time with at that time.

"Show no mercy Juliana... Finish them all and leave nothing alive!" A voice in her head stormed. She looked around to see if there was someone next to her who had just said that, but could find no one. Though she was naive about it, she would soon get used to it because she was approaching eighteen years old and, as a werewolf, she would soon come to be more acquainted with her inner wolf voice. All werewolves have this deep connection with their inner wolf voice when in human form, although Juliana's inner wolf voice was manifesting faster than any other werewolf of her kind.

She had her head bowed again in a split second the moment the seatbelts were on, and the same spirit of anger which took the fourth part of her being consciousness of the immediate environment started to creep in again. At some point, her hands shook tremendously in response to the darkness in her heart while she kept her eyes fixed on the video sent to her inbox. The sight of it made her eyebrows drop and a little squeezed in the middle, her eyes also wrinkled at both ends, affecting her naturally cupid-bow lips. Her heart hardened the more when she rewind the video ten to fifteen seconds backwards to listen to his voice.

"You do not have to do this Blade." His voice squeaked and cracked with a coldness felt around the lump in his throat while his knees quaked uncontrollably as a result of blood loss.

"Michael, hey honey, I love you." His wife whispered with a repressed mourning within her breath. Her eyes were already dimming due to accumulated blood which gathered around the vitreous humor in her eyes, causing a change in her sclera and her cornea to be very reddish with blood.

"Rose..." Micheal called inaudibly, because the air in his lungs could no longer sustain the pains he felt in his internal organs, so he gasped and had his face fall down again while at the spot where he was forced to kneel. The chains also dangled to make a deep sorrowful and pain-felt sound in the background.

"Now I shall have the strength of an angel altogether and rule as a god before these competitors owning half of my city!" Blade stormed full of ecstasy and with his arms spread a little higher above his shoulders, he grunted but still hungered to be satisfied while having his tongue roll around his lips, to the lower part of his beard and to his moustache.

"No matter what you do, you can not have my people subdued!" Rose Belt Da Vinci groaned in pain and yet full of confidence, despite having her back head ruinated by an MG42 silver bullet, she still had strength left in her to make that deep angered groan come forth with power from her mouth. Then it happened that Sheriff Kent emptied the bullets in his gun into her forehead directly in such a way that her face could no longer be recognized. And each time Juliana watched that part of the video, she would shut her eyes until the noise of the gunfire was over and then, when she opened her eyes, she would no longer recognize the face of her mother in the video anymore.

"Damnit, you should not have finished her off already! I fucking needed her to watch him die and not him watching her." Blade exclaimed vociferously, feeling enraged and half excited at the same time, because he loved the way Kent killed her while she was about crawling on her stomach towards Michael, her husband. Michael slowly lifted his face and his eyes moved even faster to behold the sight and to see what they had done to his wife. The bloody tears that rolled down his cheeks from the crystal-like sclera in his eyes made Juliana's eyes moist as she kept watching the video...
