Chapter 19

Adira’s POV

My body froze when I stepped out of the car and my eyes focused on a pink dress in the window of the dress shop. Something about this moment was triggering a memory that my wolf had locked away from me. The more I tried to remember the more my wolf became angry with me and she let out a growl warning me to not push it.

“Do you like that pink dress?” Lyra asked as she stood beside me looking into the store window at the dress with me.

“I don’t know.” I said to her as flashes of me standing in front of a mirror with a similar dress on, now come flooding back to me. But something about it felt more like a dream than a reality.

“Come on, lets go inside so we can see what else they have.” Lyra said as she took my hand and led me inside the dress store.

The dress store was much bigger looking on the inside and had a huge array of dresses for all occasions. Lyra let go of my hand and ran towards a dress that was on a mannequin in the middle of the store. “Oh my goddess,
