The Rejected Luna Six secret Heirs

Ludovica's POV"Congratulations, Luna. You are pregnant."Doctor Vittoria's words stayed in my mind like the sweetest song I had ever heard. I sat on the edge of the examination bed, completely frozen, as if my body had forgotten how to move. My heart was beating so hard that I could barely hear anything else. After all the disappointment, all the whispered insults, and all the nights I had spent wondering if I would ever have a child, I could hardly believe what I had just heard."Are you sure?" I asked softly, my voice shaking as I slowly placed both hands over my stomach. It was strange to think that there was already a tiny life growing inside me, even though I could not feel anything yet. Doctor Vittoria smiled warmly and nodded."I'm very sure, Luna. You are about five weeks pregnant. We can arrange a date for your first scan whenever you are ready."Tears quickly filled my eyes until everything in front of me became blurry. I wiped them away with trembling fingers, but more tea

Marcello's POVThe night felt endless. My wolf would not calm down, no matter how hard I tried to control him. He kept pacing inside me, growling one moment and whining the next. One second, he wanted to tear everything apart, and the next, he wanted to run back to our room and hold Ludovica until the pain disappeared. But every time I closed my eyes, I saw those pictures again, and I heard the guard's words in my head. I could not escape them, no matter how hard I tried.Manfredi walked beside me in silence as we made our way down to the dungeons beneath the palace. The deeper we went, the colder the air became, and the smell of damp stone mixed with the smell of blood. Torches burned along the walls, their weak flames moving whenever the cold air passed through the narrow hallway. I could already hear someone breathing heavily ahead of us, and with every step, my anger grew stronger. The guard was chained to the wall when we entered. His face was swollen, his lips were split, and br

Ludovica's POVThe road stretched ahead of me, long and empty, as I drove through the neutral territory. Tall trees stood on both sides of the road, their leaves moving gently in the evening wind. Everything was quiet, almost too quiet, and the silence made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. I kept both hands on the steering wheel and forced myself to focus on the road. My eyes were still swollen from crying, and my chest felt heavy, but I refused to stop. I had to keep moving because I needed to reach Manfredi's cabin before something else happened to me. More than anything, I needed to find a safe place for myself and my baby.A strange feeling suddenly moved down my spine, like cold fingers brushing against my skin. I looked into the rear-view mirror, but there was nothing behind me except the empty road and the fading light. I shook my head and tried to calm myself. After everything that had happened that day, it was only natural that I felt nervous. Marcello had made his d

Ludovica The next three days in the infirmary passed in a gentle blur. I spent most of my time resting, eating the healthy meals Doctor Emanuela brought me, and trying to understand the fact that I was carrying six babies. Six. Every time I thought about it, my heart seemed to jump between pure happiness and complete fear. I had spent so long believing I was alone, and now six little lives were growing inside me. I was grateful they were safe, but I could not stop wondering how I was going to raise them on my own.Doctor Emanuela quickly became someone I looked forward to seeing. She was warm and patient, and she checked on me every morning and evening. By the third day, we had become quite comfortable with each other. She often told me stories about other mothers in the Karite Pack who had gone through difficult pregnancies, and sometimes she made me laugh when I least expected it. Hearing about those women made me feel less afraid because it reminded me that I was not the only one

Marcello The days after I banished Ludovica passed in a heavy fog of pain that I could not escape. Only three days had gone by, yet it felt as if someone had ripped my heart out and left a bleeding hole in my chest. I sat behind the large oak desk in the Alpha's office, staring at the papers scattered before me without understanding a single word. Reports about border patrols, harvest numbers, training schedules, and pack supplies should have demanded my attention, but they all looked like meaningless scribbles. I picked up a pen and tried to sign one of the documents, but my hand shook so badly that I eventually dropped it.My wolf, the one who had always stood beside me, strong and fierce, had gone completely silent. He had turned his back on me the moment I spoke those terrible words of banishment on the pack grounds. He did not growl at me or offer his usual advice. There was only a cold, angry emptiness inside my chest where his presence had once burned brightly. I could feel hi
