Chapter 8

Adira’s POV

My wolf was still purring after Alpha Liam had left the room. At first, I thought that he was here to tell me that I had to leave after what transpired on the training field, but when he looked into my eyes, I knew that wasn’t the case. But I had to walk on eggshells because I had no other place to go and I needed to stay on my best behavior here until I at least get my memory back and know where home was exactly.

Wiping the mirror off from the steam that was caused by the shower, I look at the reflection looking back at me. Nothing about the person staring back at me looked familiar and I wondered how I didn’t even know what I looked like. Rummaging through the drawers of the vanity, I found a brush and began to comb out my long brown hair. It was long and sat down past my breast and I had to wonder if I had ever had a haircut.
