Katrina’s Point of View

“You wanted to see me?” I ask Lucius later in the day when I head over to his office. He seems so busy scribbling something in his document.

He stops his scribbling and watches me as soon as he hears my voice. His eyes trail from my boots and then go up to my face.

I decided to wear my official uniform today: black trousers with several pockets, a black T-shirt, and a black jacket, the sleeves of which, of course, have my ranks.
