Icelyn's POV

My entire body hurt as I stirred on a bed and tried moving my neck. Everything hurt, including my eyes as I tried prying them open. Thankfully, the room was not too bright so I managed to squint a little. If it was too bright, I'm afraid I would have left them closed considering my relationship with bright light.

The events of the previous day flowed back to me. Was it even yesterday? I only remembered going blank at that pub. For all I know, that could be days already.
