Luna Overnight; From Human To Luna のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 1 - チャプター 10

Alpha Chester's POVI sat at the head of the table as I listened to my Parliament lament about Governor McWrine. He was one of those dirty humans who were aware of my world and were strictly under watch. My pack, Chesterfield Pack was always the leader and head of the Parliament of Wolves. We had connections, power, and authority and instilled fear in both wolves and the humans who knew us.Years ago, a human politician needed help to eliminate a rival who was becoming too powerful and popular among the people. The only way he would win the election was if his opponent was gone. So a mutual friend per se, brought him to us to help. We did the job no other assassin could do and took down that opponent. All that politician had to do was give us access to the city's prison and we brought out whomever we wanted or put in whoever we see fit. For years, we and this politician had continued to do business. He was not permitted to tell anyone that we existed or disclose our identities. And he

Icelyn's POV“What?” I subconsciously mutter. The mysterious man smirks and then gets on his feet. He straightens his suit by the lapels and then gazes down at my Dad, who looks mortified by what he had uttered.Ellen screamed suddenly after she ran into the living room. The sight of my bloodied father and the blood on my dress and body must have frightened her to death. Hastily, one of the men grabbed her and pinned her to the ground. My heart constricted. Rage filled me.“Spare the girl only. She's coming with me,” he ordered then turned around to leave immediately. A man grabbed my arms and pulled me up.“Get off! Don't you dare!” I gritted out then shoved the man away from me. He was strong but obviously did not want to hurt me, so he let go. I spat him a deathly look then crouched down by my father. I held his trembling shoulders.“You will not lay even a finger on my father and governess,” I threatened as I glared at the back of the mysterious man. He slowly turned around and sm

Icelyn's POVI hated the way my body reacted to this mysterious man like he was the sexiest man in the world. Well, he was definitely the most s*xy man in my world because my Dad was the only man I knew. I wasn't permitted to watch TV or do anything that would give me a glimpse of the outside world. There were CCTV cameras everywhere except the bedrooms. So sometimes, Ellen sneaked in books for me to read secretly. I, therefore, had a good knowledge of men... And how they could have a relationship with a woman. The romance books I read had done me bad. Because the perfect boyfriend described was the exact image of the mysterious man feeding me breakfast. He was breathtaking. Literally breathtaking as I found out I couldn't breathe properly while rubbing my body against his smooth skin. I was wearing a blue striped shirt and tight blue pants, but his heat still managed to slip through and warm my entire being. I wanted to melt into him. Tell him to hold my face the way he did minutes a

Alpha Chester's POV “What!?” I boomed into the phone. My mate had escaped? Escaped to where? The pack was dangerous for a human. And a human like Icelyn? No, no. I couldn't lose her again. I sprang up from my swivel chair and grabbed my car keys from my desk. I was already hurrying towards my office door before I even knew it. “How could she escape the Pack House when all of you are there?!” “Alpha, she escaped during Breakfast Hour,” my butler answered. I could hear the panic and fear in his voice. He knew he was already a dead man when I arrived. “How many the f*ck times have I said you all should not go for breakfast at the same f*ck*ng time?!” I growled and yelled at the same time. My secretary at her table flinched and let down her cup of coffee. “Cancel all my appointments including the ones in the human world,” I ordered with clenched teeth as I hurried past her and pocketed my phone. I was boiling with rage. My arms shook as I pressed buttons on the elevator. “Icelyn, Ic

Icelyn's POVMy entire body hurt as I stirred on a bed and tried moving my neck. Everything hurt, including my eyes as I tried prying them open. Thankfully, the room was not too bright so I managed to squint a little. If it was too bright, I'm afraid I would have left them closed considering my relationship with bright light. The events of the previous day flowed back to me. Was it even yesterday? I only remembered going blank at that pub. For all I know, that could be days already.I gathered my strength and pushed myself off the bed, rushing to rest my back against the bed frame. My throat hurt. I was so parched. Waterrrrr.I suddenly felt very hot and was in dire need of fresh air. Hot, thirsty, weak, sore. Was misery my newest curse? The door to the room I was in opened and a handsome, young man walked in. He wore…could that be a doctor’s uniform? It was a white long coat, except it wasn’t thick. And there was a stethoscope across his shoulders. Definitely a doctor if any of my bo
