ログインYara’s Pov
My cat curled against my chest as if nothing had happened, as if she had not vanished without a trace and pulled half the house into silent panic. Her small body rose and fell steadily, and every soft vibration of her purring threatened to give me away.
I forced my shoulders to relax and my fingers to slow.

YARA's pov"She's struggling so much, Yara." Daniel said quietly, I swear he actually put one foot in front of him like he wanted to take a step forward. But he just paused. "Whatever she has to say to you must be really important…"I fixed my eyes on Judy right then. Cold and calculated. She actually opened her mouth to speak, and I held my breath for a moment. But no words formed out of her mouth, and a couple of seconds later, her hands fell limply at her side.Daniel let out a long sigh, and backtracked his outstretched foot."She's dead now." He said quietly.Good. I thought to myself. She was dead, and she took the truth about my sight right with her. Perfect. But it had really been a close call, and for a moment there, I could have sworn I could hear Judy's malicious thoughts and intent. Even while she was dying, ratting me out was her greatest wish. What a b*tch.I’m well aware that one was never meant to speak ill of those who had gone off to the other side. But Judy was so
YARA's POVIt was a risky plan, but we took a leap of fate, and it all worked out. That was what I was thinking as I casually made my way to the scene of Judy's accident. Of course, Beth's husband was far gone by now…and hopefully, Beth had managed to escape with her daughter.I paused when I was a few feet away from where Judy lay. She had a bloody gash on her legs where she'd been run over, and had blood running down her nose, and the side of her head. She twitched when I scoffed, signaling that she was probably still alive, and I sneered.Surely, she wouldn't be alive for long."What a terrible fate you've had, Judy." I said out loud as I drew closer to her body, and then crouched beside her. "You really thought you had the upper hand. Look at you, one moment you were threatening Beth and I with the return of her husband, the next moment you're the one being run over by him."I chuckled lightly."What a crazy turn of events against you, no? you really did end up having a taste of y
BETH's pov“She would not have gotten very far, so we just need to wait for that silly husband of yours to make his way here.” Yara said confidently, while I raised a brow anxiously.“The plan is a bit risky. What if he realises it isn’t me?”Yara checked the time too and smiled cheekily. "He's drunk and full of hate, I’m sure he could see a gazelle and think it’s still you."I snickered in spite of how I was feeling."I most definitely wish." I said and checked the time again. Just then he began calling again and I looked up at Yara. "It's him!""Well, answer it and let's hear what he says."I nodded quickly and clicked the answer button."I'm parked close to the place you sent, where are you?" He asked gruffly and I looked at Yara who just nodded enthusiastically."I'll be out now. Just give me a sec." In a matter of seconds , I was out the door and headed to go see him. Yara by my side."I'm close by. You'll see me soon.""What are you wearing?" He asked.Previously, Yara had alr
YARA's povWith our plan set in motion, I connected the cam in the barn so we could keep tabs on Judy's behavior."We need her to create an escape route for her without her actually knowing." I said to Beth as I set up my camera. "That way she can run head first into our trap.""She's still bound by the ropes. How are we going to untie without being suspicious?"I thought about it for a moment and then smiled when the idea formed."We can offer her food. Maybe you can feign some forced sympathy, give her a glass of milk. Place it really close to her and If she's cunning enough-and I know she is- she'll break it and use the shards to break free."Beth nodded slowly."It seems like a great idea. Alright then! Why don't I try that."An hour later, Beth had served Judy the glass of milk, and we watched the very moment the idea of breaking the glass seemed to form in her head. She looked around mischievously, as though checking if she was being watched."She's actually taking the bait.""Y
YARA's POVJudy scowled at me when she heard my threat, while I smirked and turned away from her in disgust.Beth let out a deep breath and turned to look at me."So… Let's get out of here then. You need to cool off and, "She looked at Judy, scowled, before looking at me again. "I'm really tired of looking at her."I snickered and cast Judy one final chilling look before nodding."Yeah, let's go."When we were outside and had walked a few feet away from the barn, Beth suddenly stopped, making me stop as well, and I furrowed my brows, somewhat confused."What's wrong?""I was just wondering…I mean, we have her there now, but what are we really going to do with her? After all, we really can't keep her in there forever.""Oh." I said, and realized that Beth was right. "I haven't really thought about that to be honest."I looked at the barn again and rubbed my forehead. "I actually just brought her here with the plan to make her suffer, with no actual concrete process already mapped out."
YARA's povI glared at Judy from where I stood, the entire blood in my system boiling over with so much anger and hate.I'd dreamed of the day when I'd finally get my hands on Judy and punish her for all the harm she'd caused my child. Now that she was tied up in front of me, completely at my mercy, I longed to be over and done with it.But not yet. I chide myself. These things required precision."I'm not scared of you!" Judy screamed, jutting out her chin like she was in the right. "My child deserved a chance to be raised in a fine home, surrounded by the beautiful things of life. Just as much as your child did, perhaps even more so!""Is that right?" I asked, my voice cool and low as I balled my hands into fists at my sides."Yes, it is! Daniel is my child's father, and for that reason I did everything I could to secure my son's future under Daniel's care. And I'd do it again, Yara! I'd definitely do every hurtful thing that I did to your child if it meant mine got a chance!""you
Yara’s POVI sat there with the file still open in front of me, and then everything suddenly made sense.Daniel had not been keeping me alive out of guilt. He had not been hesitating because some part of him still cared. He had been giving me those drugs for a reason. If I died too soon, my family
Yara's POVThe lawyer did not speak right away after taking out the document. He only placed it in front of me and let me look at it myself. At first, I thought it would be something ordinary. Another company paper. Another record I needed to review before making my next move. Then I saw my name. F
Yara’s POVBeth was still on the video call, her face close to the screen, her eyes full of excitement.“Tell me properly,” she said. “How did you even pull that off?”I leaned back against the sofa and looked at her. The noise from the video she had sent still seemed to linger in my ears. The who
Yara’s POVI had expected trouble. I just had not expected it to happen so fast. The moment Beth told me Elaine and Caroline had gotten into a fight, I sat up straight. My fingers tightened around my phone, and my heart started beating harder.“What happened?” I asked at once. “How did it even star
