Katherine’s POV

“Let me go, please! Please Harrison!”

My voice cracked as Harrison hauled me over his shoulder like I was nothing more than a sack of grain. His palm pressed into the bottom of my back, pinning me there.

Hot. Full of lust. Hopeless.

My fists pounded weakly against his back, but every strike was useless against the wall of muscle beneath my hands.
