I nearly scoffed when I saw Natasha's biggest crush, Xander.

Pfft... that's who she was all gaga about?

But I kept my mouth shut because I didn't want her to kick me to the curbs. I really enjoyed her company.

"There he is. What do I do now?" she said in a hoarse whisper.

"Go ask him to come over to your house, obviously," I said.

"What? Just like that? I can't do that!" she exclaimed.

I could sense Natasha's nervousness as she spoke, but I couldn't help feeling a little amused by her reaction. "Well, what do you want me to say? Do you want me to go talk to him for you?" I asked, trying to hide a smile.

"No, no, of course not," she said, shaking her head vigorously. "I'll do it myself. I just don't know what to say."

I nodded sympathetically. "You can do it, I believe in you."

Natasha took a deep breath and straightened her shoulders. "Okay, I'll do it. Thanks for the encouragement," she said, giving me a small smile.

I watched her as she made her way over to Xander.
