Chapter 35: meeting Beth and regrets.-2

She looked at me, smiled, and asked if she could come in. I was still shocked and surprised, wondering how she's here and why she's here.

Then I invited her to come in, offered her a drink.

We started talking, and I realized that she was really interesting and very easy to talk to. I asked her what she was doing here and how she knew I was staying here. She laughed and said, "Oh, my father is a Lord in the kingdom, and I get to know a lot of information even when I don't want to know them."

I said, "Ah, that's true." And then she asked me about my pack and how it is being a future Alpha and all that. I told her that it was nothing much, that a future Alpha needs a Luna, but so far, I've not been lucky in finding my mate.

She asked me if I didn't find my mate, do I plan on taking a chosen mate. And I said, yes, of course, I will take a chosen mate. If I didn't find my mate. If I meet someone and fall in love I would definitely make her my chosen mate.

There are a lot of wolves with chosen mates. It's not unheard of because finding a mate has been a bit hard lately in our kingdom. It has to do with what happened years ago; the moon goddess is still angry at us because she feels that we don't value matebond.

She told me that she's single and hasn't found her mate yet, but she’s ready to give love a chance if it comes.

I saw that as an opportunity to maybe shoot my shot. I said to her, "You are single... you don't mind, maybe we should go out for a date or something?" she smiled saying she will think about it.

I asked once more why she actually came here. She told me that as the High Lord daughter and a princess it was her duty to come pay respect to a visiting Alpha. And I said, "Oh, that was actually good and noble of her."

After a few days of talking and going out on dates and her taking me to nice places in the kingdom, we became really close.

After a week of really getting to know her, I couldn't stop thinking about her. I have totally fallen for her, and my wolf has also fallen for her beautiful gray Bear Nora. We both liked them, and we agreed to ask her out.

And then when I went to ask her out, she wasn't sure at first, asking me if she was just temporary, if the relationship would only last while I'm in her kingdom, and once I go back home, it would end.

I assured her that it wasn't going to be so, that we were going to date and I really like her a lot, and I want to make her my girlfriend.

She invited me to her family dinner to meet her family that evening.

I dressed up, and the guys and I left to attend the family dinner.

We met Lord Macous again; he welcomed us into his home. And we met Lady Brenda. She also welcomed us. Everyone was warm and welcoming.

Lord Macous asked me what my intention was for his daughter, because she's a noble and a princess, and dating a princess alone isn't enough.

And I told him that I really like his daughter a lot, and I wouldn't mind making her my chosen mate, given the fact that I've not found my mate and I'm not really sure If I would ever find my mate.

Josh and Mark weren't in agreement with my idea, though, but they liked Bethany a lot and respect her. They said she was cool and didn't act like a spoiled brat.

Lord Macous said, it's something that we have to make official, and I have to sign a betrothal agreement that makes Bethany my betrothed.

I was really happy and out of my mind; I didn't really care about the after effects. After dinner, Bethany took me to a small cabin. We ended up having sex and I was surprised to find out that she was a virgin.

Present time

I was so deep in my thoughts I didn’t hear the doorbell ring the first time, I got up to answer it and wondered who it would be, because I wasn't expecting anyone, and I've told Josh and Mark not to come.

I went to the door without even looking at the monitor because I was really out of it. And when I opened it, I was shocked and surprised to find Sofia standing there. "Am I dreaming?" I asked. "Am I...?" Storm spoke up saying, "No, you are not. It's actually our mate and we fucked.
