Chapter 20. His Dirty Words

After arguing with Gabriel, I decided to rest in the attic, located on the second floor. Although the place was dirty and full of dust, at least I could be calm without Gabriel's presence.

In the morning, I woke up with a limp. I looked at my reflection in the bathroom mirror with a sad feeling. My eyes looked red and watery. There were traces of tears on my cheeks because I had been crying all night.

“I'll have to cover it up with concealer,” I said as I touched Gabriel's bite mark on my shoulder. His bite mark looked horrible to my eyes.

After I finished showering, I went to change my clothes in my room. It surprised me to see Gabriel already on standby in my room. He was sitting on the single chair by the door.

“I've been waiting for you here for an hour ago.” He spoke to me in a hoarse voice that sounded irritating to my ears.
