Nash's POV

In the dungeon, I looked at the guard I assigned to guard Kanza. However, that night Kanza easily escaped from my palace and even Jackson lost track of the girl! Just like I lost Amber.

“Ugh!”

The groan of pain that escaped Jackson's lips showed how bad his condition was now. The man's entire body was covered in bruises and open wounds that were oozing fresh blood, the man's once strong body seemed to be limp, his shoulders were shaking strongly, and he was forcing himself too hard to stay conscious even though in the end his efforts were in vain, because in the next second his body covered in wounds, he collapsed and fell with a thud on the cold floor.

Every day I told the guards to beat him so that he would know how big his mistake was for making Kanza run away and lose track of him. I really want to kill him. But only he knows what kind of figure helped Kanza when he escaped from my palace.
