"You think so? I've always been crazy. I just forgot who I really am, that's all," Denzel said, unaware that his eyes had become the colour of the night. At that point, I was overcome with the fear that Adam had returned. Nevertheless, it didn't make sense. There was no way he could have returned to take over Denzel's body.

"Tell me one thing. Is she really carrying your child?" I asked, trying not to show how heartbroken I was.

He stared at me for a moment and slowly turned away from me. He gazed at the blue sky through the window. Then, he took a deep breath.

"Is that really what you think of me?" He asked.

He sighed, pushing his messy hair away from his face.

"And you think I would have sex with just anybody?" He said, his voice laced with hurt and disbelief.
