Maximo accepted with a nod and carried Luna up. I followed him to Luna’s room and he laid her down.

“What will happen now?” Maximo asked.

“Huuuhhh!” I sighed heavily. “She will wake up. Please, stay with her,” I told him.

“Uh, sure,” he accepted and sat down on the bed. I headed out. I opened the door and glanced back at them before going out. I went downstairs to meet Emiliano. He was seated on the couch in the living room, staring at the door. I sat beside him.
