I entered without touching, something I had never dared to do in my life. The respect I had for Alpha was in second place.

“Where is Wynter?” I asked directly. The Alpha seemed surprised, but immutable.

As always, he was reading some papers when he noticed my presence and set them aside. Where was he while everything burned?

“Why do you want to know that?” His calmness made me go crazy.
