Part 22 # The Odd Auction

After receiving the signal, Arren swapped her hat. Carefully, she walked down to reach the back door of the theater.

When the stage lights returned to normal, Arren's bodyguards didn't seem to suspect her whereabouts. This is because the hat that is identical to their master can still be seen sticking out from behind the audience seats.

Guards are only allowed to enter and stay in the back corner of the theater so they do not disturb other guests who are currently enjoying the show.

Arren used this to trick them and sneak away without being detected.

After leaving the theater, Arren entered a dark and quiet hallway that connected the Opera House to a small alley that led to the main street.

Arren ran to quickly escape and blend into the crowd so that the guards, who noticed her absence, could not track her.

After a while, Arren finally arrived at the center of the crowd. She tried to continue walking towards the night market and looked for clues that could lead her to the secret trader
