The next day, the moving truck was in front of the house. I didn't touch the furniture, I was going to get that on my own and so for now we would sleep on the blankets that we had access to.

Amy had a lot of questions and I promised her we would answer them later. She didn't push it and I was grateful for that. it was almost as if she could tell how stressed I was.

Greg was nowhere to be seen and even though I wouldn't have accepted, a part of me really wanted him to come and stop us from leaving.

This was such a sad ending for me.
