"What?!" I stood to my feet sharply, not sure that I had heard her right. Amy's eyes followed my steps and she waited impatiently for me to drop the call.
"Where is the scene? Has someone called the hospital? For the love of God, is he dead?" I started to cry. If Greg was gone, all of my life dreams and ambitions were dead. I loved him too much for him to leave now.
"The ambulance will be here any minute from now." She said, "there's blood everywhere and he is badly injured, I honestly cannot tell you if he is alive because I don't know how to check for a pulse but he is surely unconscious."
