Fear

I was filled with shock and fear, as my whole body trembled because of the lightning from the scepter in my hands, which kept draining my energy. I felt as though my bones were on fire.

I tried to let it go but it won't get off my hands. The pain was tremendous.

I woke up from the dream the next minute as my breathing got heavy.

My face glistened with sweat. I grabbed the bed covers and climbed down the bed, I looked at my fingers and smoke was still coming out of it.

I realized that it was caused by a burn mark.

My hands hurt like hell.

I checked the time only to realize that it's 3:00 am in the morning and the whole place is shrouded in darkness, apart from the yellow light emitting from my lamp.

I needed to cool my head, my body aches with pain, as my heart beats rapidly in anxiety and fear.

"This is just the beginning, little one." A whisper came into my ear, I looked and found no one.

I felt a shadow crept in behind me.

I was so scared, because I knew I didn't see anyone in my bedroom before.

Fear gripped me and I ran out of the room into the dense forest.

I ran and felt the sound of something chasing with all seriousness.

I ran without looking behind me, I was certain that I'd been running for nearly an hour. The next thing I knew, I was thrown into a cold embrace by that force.

"Urgh." I grunted in pain. The body I collided with was strong like steel.

My forehead swelled and it hurts a lot.

The huge guy stares at me with interest. Realizing that I ignored the other party, I raised my eyes and met with an unfamiliar murky red eyes.

I felt a shill climb up my back.

"Oh, you came right in time." His cold and aggressive voice reached my ears, but seemed to have another effect on me.

He grabbed my throat and raised my face to get it to his level. This guy in front of me is attractive as hell.

A handsome cold blooded demon stared back at me.

I felt fear crept inside me from his predatory gaze.

A shadow made a swift contact with me and grazed my skin, drawing blood from it.

I looked back in fear and trepidation, only to see a whooshing black cloaked form. Its gender was unidentifiable.

The next moment the hunk of a man jabbed my neck and everything went blank.
