VALERIE

I walked swiftly into the field, my heart skipping beats.

“Beta!" I called out when I saw him.

The beta turned around and looked at me, anger darting across his orbs. He narrowed his eyes and faced the confused trainees standing before him.

“Let's kick off with some warm-ups!" He chanted, clapping his hands.

The boys formed some lines and began to do some push-ups.

“Beta, please can we talk?" I asked, glaring at the boys, who turned to look at me.

“Let's go!" He shouted and began to walk around the lines, observing the boys and reprimanding those who seemed weak, threatening to kick them out.

I clenched my fist, aware of how furious Michelle would be by now. Though I didn't care about her feelings, I didn't like the idea of standing in a training area filled with boys who wouldn't stop feeding their eyes on me.

I bit my lips, watching him as I thought of ways to get this done quickly.

“I am sorry, Beta Neil!" I screamed, feeling my throat knot as all heads turned in

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   A present that might never come

I stepped into the room with Lucian, my eyes fixed on her figure. My body, mind, and soul were too broken to react with any emotion.I took slow steps closer while Lucian remained at the edge of the bookshelf, staring calmly at her.“You returned?” I whispered in the darkness. She stopped rocking the chair she was sitting on and turned her head in my direction, her hazel eyes piercing deep into my broken, wretched soul.“I promised.”Her voice was so soft and silky that it seemed to float with the air in the room. She got up from the chair and slowly walked towards me, her eyes never leaving my face. My heart suddenly came back to life when she touched my chest. My breath hitched, and my heartbeat moved from a slow-paced beat to a fast-paced beat as her hand traveled to my face.I froze as she leaned closer and kissed my lips deeply yet tenderly. Her hand caressed my cheek and dropped on my shoulder, then circled round my neck as she pulled me closer, biting my lips in the process.T

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   Mother

LUCIAN The moment the words left my mouth, the remaining systems of my body suddenly crashed down, and I gasped in horror while my hands dropped to the ground for support. My burning eyes remained on my mother’s face as the guards that was carrying her body drew closer. This was hard to believe. I shook my head as her reassuring whispers and hopeful words, which always filled our hearts with resilience and joy, echoed in my head and haunted my reviving heart. Why? Why did the moon goddess watch her life get snatched from her, even though she was the only one in the household who partly believed her?“No! No!” Killian whispered in a trembling voice, knelt on the ground with his rage-filled eyes fixed on our mother’s body.I wanted to look away to ease the pain in my heart, but I couldn’t stop my eyes from drawing to the crimson spot on her lower abdomen. My heart burned with rage, and my fist clenched. My trembling lips parted, and a large howl escaped from my mouth. The feet of the m

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   A bitter victory

LUCIANKillian and I sat on cracked stones, catching our breaths atop the blood-soaked rooftop. The moon, which had once been shrouded by storm clouds during the chaos, watched over us as it shone its light on the silent manor. We had a victory, a bitter one. My hands still trembled from the fight, and waves rocked my body, sparking up emotions that I couldn’t define.I glanced at Garam’s corpse, lying in a dark pool that reflected the silver moon hanging above. His face, which was once filled with cruelty, was empty now with no life, evil, or power on it.The bodies of Garam’s creatures, which littered the field below, began to slowly dissolve into dark mist that the breeze carried away, leaving only the blood-filled field and the bodies of the fallen warriors of the pack and the rogues that supported Garam.I wiped my sword clean on the edge of my torn cloak and slid it into its sheath before standing up to face the people who stood below.Everyone began to drop their weapon of war

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   It is over

KILLIAN The sky above had darkened to a bruised purple, streaked with veins of lightning that cracked the heavens as if the gods themselves were bearing witness to this moment. The air was thick with the scent of blood, smoke, and the unmistakable foul and rotten smell of dark powers and demons. Garam didn’t move as we pounded swiftly towards him.He stood at the far edge of the rooftop, robes billowing like wings, arms still folded across his chest, and his grin unwavering. Behind him, shadows coiled and thickened, growing taller and broader, forming the outline of a monstrous beast made of pure darkness. It was horned, fanged, with eyes like burning coals.“You think you can stop me?” Garam called out, his voice carrying over the storm. “You’re insects compared to me and I will crush you beneath my heel," he added, his grin dark.“We’ll see about that,” Lucian snarled, leaping first.I was right behind him with my bloodstained spear raised, and my heart hammering in my chest like

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   Angel of death

MICHELLE I coughed loudly as I staggered along the corridor, clutching my bleeding belly. I groaned and stopped walking then slid down to the ground. I pulled my hand away and stared at the blood on my palm. I thought I would feel peace and better after killing the Luna Queen, but somehow, I didn't feel better. Instead, I felt worse. I staggered up and continued to stagger forward. Everything was over. Even if the Lycan brothers won this war, the lordess of destruction would come and destroy every single thing they had fought for. All I wanted was revenge and perhaps, if possible, power. I had gotten revenge on the Luna Queen and Valerie. All that was left was to find the power that I needed to be safe from the Lycan brothers because I was sure that they would come for me.There was only one way to protect myself from the Lycan brothers, and that was aligning with the lordess of destruction.Though the stories that I had heard and read concerning her were scary and spine-chilli

  • Lycan Brothers Want Me   The beasts

KILLIAN "Fire!" Neil yelled and bullets began to rain at the monsters emerging towards us. "Alpha, you should leave the fight for us. The pack needs you!" Neil shouted as he rushed towards us. "No, no, don't worry too much about it. And we are going to fight. We will not let you do this alone," I replied. I looked at his body and noticed that he even had worse slashes than we did. It would be the most embarrassing thing if we let our soldiers who look up to us fight for the Pack. Valerie asked us to do this, so we will. We will destroy every single one of them, including Garam. "Fire!" The bullets kept raining at the beasts but none of them were shaken by the bullets. "Tell the younger men to fight off the little demons. We will take care of these," I muttered and he nodded before leaving to give the command and split the soldiers into their new positions. Salvador turned around and shouted out to the men, warning them to stop firing. The soldiers didn't stop, but their eye
