A Good Day Indeed

The light of dawn seeped into my room. I rubbed my bleary eyes, I reluctantly stood from my bed and walked to the window. There was a pearly glow in the sky and I loved the view.

It was Monday morning. “Not again,” I mumbled.

While I admired nature from my window, I smiled as the thought of moving into my flat popped into my head.

It was my second month as a graduate. I'm an adult and I needed to move. I got so much joy, realizing I was growing up to be a full-grown woman.

Furthermore, I yawned and stretched out my body.

The sound of birds chirping in the distance, the soft rustling of trees as they swayed in the morning breeze, and the soft sound of waves as they gently lapped on the lake shore, I couldn't take my eyes off it.
