Ch.48 - "Getting excited, are we?"

I hopelessly brought my hand forward. It was all because that was what I saw them do in movies.

Whenever the hero or heroine was out finding his or her powers, he would demonstrate it just like this. Like I was doing now.

“Urrgh!!”

I screamed in annoyance.

Maybe all these theories were wrong. Perhaps, not all Lycans possessed gifts of any sort. It was hard to believe that I was a Lycan who had secret gifts I had to unleash.

If I had to do that, then why wasn’t it coming out? I asked myself.

I stared at the tree again. I tried to summon my wolf to help me but she was being too lazy. She said that she helped me a lot for today which I replied as,

“You did a great deal of work even though I lost the challenges,” she scoffed loudly as I said those words, sarcastically.

I close my eyes, trying to communicate with nature somehow. I inhaled the breeze and felt the rhythm. I focused on the birds and placed my legs which I covered with sneakers on the floor.
