Why do you keep asking me this same question?" I asked 

" Because we are mates," Nick said 

" So you want to take advantage of that ?" 

"No…no..no, that's not what I meant…I know you were supposed to make him your alpha but why doesn't it seem like you want it"

" How did you find out?" I asked making him chuckle 

" I just needed to say your name and everyone won't stop gossiping about how you were ready to step down from your position as alpha for Leo, what caused the sudden change of mind because you hadn't met me when you rejected him" he's right but how can I trust him to keep. My secrets are safe.

" If you don't trust me then we can talk about something else"

" No, you asked as my mate I should at least let you know why I rejected you at first, " I said thinking of the right way to begin my story.

" So go ahead, this place is well confined. I would be between the both of us" he assured.

" I want revenge" I stated…. the word came out before I could realize it.

" How, why …what happened that you desperately need revenge?" He asked

" Because Leo betrayed me after I made him my alpha"

" How is that possible when he isn't your alpha yet" How can I explain this to Nick without sounding crazy

" I was reborn" 

" Reborn, how is that possible when you are still here" Nick already sounds confused.

" You can never understand Nick"

" Make me understand…I also have something to tell you which you must understand" Nick said 

" I was reborn, because of my mother's bloodline which can't be explained but now I have realized my  mistakes and want to take revenge on all of them," I said 

" Then give me a chance to help you" Nick offered, is he crazy…do I sound weak to him. or told him I can't take revenge on my own.

" Am not weak" I said

" I know. I just want us to join forces together, I Know I sound just like Leo but I need you to claim my position as alpha in my pack" Why does he need my help if he is powerful enough on his own?

" Why do you need my help," I asked

" Because I need a mate to enable me to claim my right as alpha in the ceremony and am. also very selective but then you came from nowhere and the moon goddess made you my mate" he said knowing I wasn't convinced at all.

" I would help you take revenge on Leo and everyone else who helped him destroy you in your past life" he added.

" Are you sure you won't act like Leo" 

" Compared to Leo, I am a man of my word," Nick promised, escorting me back to his car.

This is weird …in my former life I had no connection with Nick but now I am planning on joining an alliance with him to take revenge on Leo and Sunny.

"Should I still take you to Leo?" Nick asked me to open the passenger seat for me to enter.

" Just take me to him, I still need to go home with sunny….I noticed she finds you attractive and I want to use that against her" I said….he chuckled, closing the door before entering the driver seat and starting the engine.

"You hate this pack of yours"

"Stop with the teasing Nick," I said, adjusting my seatbelt as we drove back to the ceremony.

" Nick escorted me into the ceremony causing stares and murmurs within the crowd. I thought the mating ceremony was over. Why haven't they left the place…Leo and Sunny seemed to be flirting in my father's presence, not noticing my presence while I cleared my throat.

"Dennis" Leo called, standing up almost immediately and giving Nick the hate stare.

"I should get going now, I have a lot to attend to," Nick said, pecking me on the cheek gently before heading off.

" What did he tell you?" My dad asked before I could even sit down.

" Why do you want to know isn't that my business?" I replied.

" You left Leo and went out with another guy and of all men you chose a Carter," my father said with rage while my stepmother pretended to calm me down, as I care about their consent whatsoever.

"Leo isn't my husband yet" I claimed

"Dennis what has gotten over you ….why are you acting so differently suddenly, I thought we loved each other and promise to support each other in every way possible," Leo said trying to look pitiful but it wasn't working on me this time.

" Leo, I had my reasons I just wish you could at least understand," I said, also trying to sound pitiful and convincing enough. Leo looks away much more frustrated than earlier…yes Leo I want you to be frustrated all your life, and even more miserable than ever.

"Isn't the mating ceremony over?" I asked tracing the sunny state and it landed on Nick who was busy among his pack.

"Sunny " I called Making Leo more concentrated on us.

" Are you falling for Nick already, you are always staring at him at any chance you get" I added making her eyeballs almost pop out at the fact that I was watching her all this while.

" Am not" she claimed as Leo gave her the bad gaze

"Why not, it's not like you are married or found a mate …you are free to chase after him," I said, making her smile in her imagination..it would be easy to make her lose interest in Leo.

"Why would she fall for Nick, he is very ruthless from what I heard," Leo said.

" And why do you care, don't you want her to find a mate quickly" I opposed smiling from within, it's very easy to play a trick on their minds

  Nick won't stop smiling at me from the crowd till I was about to leave when he ran up to me. Why is he clingy isn't that going to ruin his reputation for being ruthless?

"Dennis"
