Ava POV

"Where do you think you're going!". A male authoritative voice commaded and instantly I halted, my feet rooted to the floor and unable to move.

He was an Alpha, I could tell because no one has the power to issue a command to be obeyed. Only Alpha's possessed that gift.

"Turn around". He ordered again and gently I swirled around still carrying Emerald in my arms and he gasped.

"What are you doing with her?!". He growled and instantly I recognized him. He was the Alpha of this pack and I had only met him once when I feigned to have lost my memories in the court the day Astra almost went raging at the elders.

"I____I___I". I stuttered not knowing what to say.
