RAVENNA
~~~~~~~~~♤♤♤♤♤♤“You know, if you missed me that much, you could’ve just said so instead of going through this entire process,” I teased as I led Nana through the house and into her bedroom.When she was settled on her bed, she rolled her eyes at me. “I didn’t do that. I’ve been really worried about you lately, and you know when I’m stressed and worried, I like to clean. I haven’t been getting much rest.”
“I know. I was just joking.” I climbed under the covers next to her, placing my head on her shoulder. “I had been really worried when I got that call. Don’t scare me like that ever again.”
“I didn’t mean to. You’ve been really busy lately.”
I nodded, but I didn’t elaborate on the subject. It would only get her more worried, and that was the last thing I wanted.
