Chapter 14

Steve's POV

I was dragged back by an unknown force. I was heating up and all my body was aching but I had no escape route. I was giving up already when I saw an entrance and someone came out of somewhere. Instantly I felt the need to cry out for help and I did. The person didn't answer at first but I think after much consideration he or she decided to help me. The person bent down to pull me up and when I tried to look at the person's face, a bright light shone onto my face and I opened my eyes. 

"Good morning" I heard Melanie's cheerful voice   I squinted my eyes as I realized the source of the bright light that shone onto my face was from the window she was opening. I sat up and held my head as I felt a throbbing headache. 

"Morning, what says the time?" I asked.  "Just 7 'o clock in the morning" she said as she seems undisturbed by the fact that we're running late.  "What the hell?!" I exclaimed as I stood up hurriedly. D
