Chapter 38

Melanie's POV

I let out an exasperated sigh as I dropped my backpack on the bed. I head to the bathroom to have my bath. I went into the bathtub after I had filled it with  warm water. 

I shut my eyes immediately the warm water came in contact with my skin. The events of the day replayed in my mind. 

For all I care, I was unnecessarily angry throughout today. There wasn't any real reason for my anger nor was there any candid reason for my attitude today. And it all began this morning. 

I sighed as I went deep down under the water with my eyes closed. Few minutes later, I came up again. I breathed out heavily and then slowly to steady my breath. I brushed off the strands of hair that got stuck to my face. 

"I should not get weighed down by this." I thought aloud. "No one deserves my sudden outburst. Not even Steve." I muttered to myself as I washed up.
