CHAPTER 24

Christian's POV

I haven't been the same since Makaila left. I've tried reaching across to her, at least to talk to her and explain myself but she avoided me like I was a plague. It was frustrating. The worst part of it all was that Bethany had succeeded in latching herself on to me like a leech and I had no way of telling her off. It was then I began to see what Makaila had been talking about. 

Even though I had absolutely no feelings for Bethany, I'll still choose her over everything. 

And that was a terrible thing. 

Something I needed to stop desperately. 

Nigel and Rita were also giving me attitude, especially Rita. She was going really extra about it and it was scary to bits. Jackson wouldn't stop looking at me with a certain sardonic smirk on his lips and though I tried to act nonchalant about it, I had a terrible feelin
