Chapter 02 Alluring

"He's the one."Amelia, Ales's wolf giggled in excitement.

The mann walked towards Alessandra with his eyes fixed on her as if the whole world had disappeared, leaving the two of them.

Her hand on the water bottle tightened with each step he took towards Alessandra,her eyes couldn't leave him either because he was too handsome for Ales to tear her eyes off him.

His raven black hair was combed away from his face, he had sharp features and he was tall and strong. His scent got more strong as he walked towards the nervous girl,goosebumps crept on Ales's skin and her heart pounded more wildly.

Before she could process what was going on, Alessandra felt something soft and warm on my lips. Her eyes shuttered effortlessly and the water that she was holding in her hand slid and fell on the ground.

The cold water spilled on her feet which made her shiver slightly because of the coldness . However, his warm lips made Ales's mind foggy and she forgot about the coldness on her foot.Her heart melted into a buddle.

"What's wrong?Why are you crying"He pulled off and stared at Alessandra with creased eyebrows.

That's when Ales realised that she was crying, he wiped tears from her eyes carefully,making sure he doesn't cause any harm to her.

The man's eyes were full of concern. His cold fingers send shivers down Ales's spine.

"I...I'm..."She stuttered as more tears flowed from her eyes because Alessandra couldn't believe it. It was like a sweet dream that she didn't want to wake up from.

"Hey, What have you done to her?"Monalisa roughly pulled Ales's mate away because she thought that he had done something bad to her cousin which made her to cry.

Alessandra stood up almost immediately from the wooden chair and stepped in front of her mate, protecting him from any harm that was about to come.

Monalisa looked at Ales with creased eyebrows, probably surprised why she was defending someone that had made her cry.

"He...he is my mate."She stuttered as a faint smile flashed on her lips. Alessandra turned her head momentarily to look at the man who was standing behind her and he nodded his head, confirming that she was saying the truth.

Lisa's eyes widened in surprise because she couldn't believe what she had just heard. When Alessandra looked at the surroundings from the corners of her eyes,she realised that all eyes were on them.

Lisa was a werewolf just like Alessandra, therefore,she was not surprised when Ales told her that the man standing behind her was her mate. She knows how protective werewolf are towards their mates.

"Ace Hernandez."He stepped forward and outstretched his hand towards Lisa for a handshake.

Monalisa looked at Alessandra and she nodded at her with a smile as they exchanged silent Alessandra was so happy because Monalisa was the first person to meet my mate.

Although Lisa was protective and hard to get along with if you don't know her too well. She's a darling when you get to know her better and you would never regret spending even a single second around her.

"Monalisa."She said, "You can call me Lisa if you like."She shrugged her shoulders and smiled. They shook hands with faint smiles on their lips.Ales was so happy to know that they were getting along well despite the misunderstanding earlier.

"You guys can go to the garden to catch up. It's too noisy in here."Monalisa suggested. Alessandra turned to look at her mate and he nodded in agreement.

Lisa looked at my mate with a very serious face. Alessandra could tell that she was up to no good.

"If anything happens to her, you'll be answerable to me." She said coldly.

'Oh my goodness! I just knew it.'Alessandra screamed inside her head when she heard her cousin's words.

Lisa was very protective, she's like an older sister that Alessandra never had and she's grateful. Lisa always protected Ales and comforts her whenever something terrible happened to her.

"You don't need to worry."Ace said with a smile on his lips. He looked down on Alessandra since he was slightly taller than her. Ales pressed her ips into a thin line and gave his hand a nervous squeeze.

"I won't do anything that would put my mate's life in danger."He said with a bold voice.

His voice was husky and soothing in my Ales's ear.She wished Ace could continue talking because she wanted to listen to his voice for eternity.

Lisa tilted her head to the side and raised her eyebrows challengingly.Ales knew that look, it meant that she was not going to back off that easily.

"You better."She said with a small smile at the corner of her lips. That dangerous smile which meant that she was so serious with whatever she had said earlier.

The two destined mate walked away from the noise and loud party Alessandra closed her eyes momentarily and inhaled the cold breeze which was filled with the sweet scent of flowers.

The flower garden looked so beautiful under the silver glow from the moon. The garden had variety of flowers which made it more captivating.

Ales shivered slightly when the strong cold breeze brushed her bare skin.

"You'll catch a cold."She heard his husky voice whispering in her ear and a soft fabric on covered her shoulders.

The suit coat smelled of him. It smelled of pure male scent mixed with coconut and honey. Closing her eyes slightly and inhaling the addicting scent deep in her lungs, Alessandra turned around to look at her mate.

"What about you?"She asked with creased eyebrows when she realised that Ace was only wearing a thin shirt which didn't do any good time prevent him from catching cold.

For a split second, Alessandra wanted to punish herself for not carrying any sweaters. She felt guilty for taking her mate's coat.

"Don't worry about me."He said with a smile on his lips. His smile was so beautiful that Alessandra wanted to see it every second because it made her heart beat rapidly.

"I'll be fine."He shrugged his shoulders slightly and twisted his lips. They sat on the bench in the flower garden.

"I don't want to get in trouble in case you catch a cold. Your sister will kill me."He joked and they laughed happily.Alessandra made a mental note to scold Monalisa for scaring her mate.

It was silent for a brief moment in the flower garden. Ales raised her head slowly and looked at the bright moon.

"Thank you, moon goddess,"She said in her mind. Alessandra closed her eyes and a sigh escaped and sighed slowly.

"I'm so happy to have finally found you."His soothing voice pulled Ales back to the real world. Ace turned his head and looked at his mate with calm eyes and a broad smile on his lips.

Ace bewitched Alessandra with those alluring eyes, she got lost in them. There was something about his eyes that Alessandra couldn't wrap her fingers on. They were... beautiful and addicting.

Alessandra intertwined their hands and gave them a tight squeeze. She then stretched her neck and locked their lips.

Words were not enough to show him how happy she was to have found him

It was overwhelming.

Tears flowed from her eyes for the tenth time, tears of happiness because she had truly found her destined mate just like Leo had found his two weeks ago.

More tears flowed from Ales's eyes when the memories clouded her mind.She kissed him deeper, she wanted to do everything that she had ever imagined to doing to Leo.

Ace pulled away when he tasted salt on his lips. A deep frown found its way to his beautiful features. He wondered what the hell was happening to his mate.

He wondered why she was crying each time they kissed.

"What's wrong?"He asked with creased eyebrows. He brushed dark hair strands from Ales's face and tucked them behind her ear carefully.

"Nothing, "Alessandra said with a smile on her lips.

"I'm just happy."Her voice came out in a whisper and she gave his hand a small squeeze.

Alessandra didn't want Ace to know the reason why she was crying that much. Even before he appeared in her life, Ales swore to herself that the past will never hinder her present and the happiness that will come with it.

All Alessandra wanted at the moment was for Ace to wrap his hands around her into a tight hug.She wanted to feel how it felt to be in the arms of someone who is into you.

"Can you hug me?"Alessandra asked with a nervous voice,her lips curved into a faint smile as she fiddled with the sleeves of the suit coat.

She tried her hard to sound normal.

However, she failed miserably because her voice was cracky at the end. It didn't matter to her, all that mattered was what she wanted to experience.

Ace looked at his mate with creased eyebrows then nodded his Alessandra knew Ace was wondering what the hell was happening to her.

Even though she had no powers to enter his mind and know whatever he was thinking of me. One thing was for sure.

He thought Alessandra was weird.

"Okay."He said in his husky soothing voice. He wrapped his arms around Ales tightly as if he was afraid that she would disappear into thin air.

That's what Alessandra wanted, a tight suffocating hug as if someone was afraid of losing her .

Was that too much to ask?

Alessandra's eyes shuttered and she wrapped her hands around Ace tightly.

Alessandra was afraid, she thought that her mate would slip from her grip just like Leo did.She didn't want to loose him to anyone.

She inhaled his scent deep in her lungs,it made Ales's muscles relax a little bit because it gave her an assurance that he was still around, holding her in his arms.

A smile crept on Alessandra's lips when Ace kissed her on the top of the head.
