The smell coming from the corridor that we were in smelled of steel and something else. Antiseptic.

And that meant the place was clean. Too clean for it even. And facilities like this were made to hide a couple of things. Yeah, talking about stuff like experiments or prisoners and other kinds of sinister secrets.
