I was really finding it difficult to wrap my head around what was happening today. First of all, it was Alexander showing up to my house unannounced, informing me of his decision to travel today. Next it was this man who called himself Francis, forcing me to go on a dinner date with him.

I tried to keep my anger in check and also to refrain from using the cuss words that were right on the tip of my tongue. “How did you find where I live?”

He stepped out of the car, a smile that irritated me from the depth of my soul, lingering on his face. I found myself comparing him to Alexander, I wouldn't have really cared if it was Alex wearing the smile. Besides, it made Alex look more handsome and manly, blushing quietly to the thoughts in my head.

At that moment, my head calculated that this morning was the only time I had seen him smile genuinely, ever since we saw each other again.
