65. I need rest

Constance's point of view:

I shakily turn to face the angry Darren. He's laughing but no one needs to tell me that it's a dangerous laugh. I thought I hit him hard, he should have fainted or died. I didn't know that he would rise on his feet so quickly, though blood is still oozing out from his forehead.

“I told you that you can't escape from me. You are mine and only mine!"

“I will never be yours Darren, never!" screamed and ran away in another direction. Maybe I will find another exist. I haven't run far before Darren caught up on me.

He held my arm tightly and pushed me to himself. I tried to free myself from his grip but he wouldn't let me. The next thing I felt was a sharp pain on my cheeks. He slapped me. This time, I felt my lips were broken.

“I told you that I will be good to you if you do not make me angry but you didn't listen to me. Now, I will teach you a lesson. I don't want to hurt you but you have pushed me too far."

I gulped down in fear. What is he trying to do to me
