Chapter Twenty- Six

Adriel was shocked as his meeting got interrupted by the large kick on the door.

"Who the hell?" His eyes met with Lola's and from what he saw, she was not in that way happy.

"What's the meaning of this?" She raised the sack letter he had sent to her residence yesterday through a mail person.

"What's going on here?" The client was utterly shocked to see the friendly and always smiley secretary to Adriel in such a manner.

"Mr. Kowalski, I'm sorry about this, how about we reschedule this meeting till tomorrow, I need to settle something really important, real quick." He said, stealing angry glances at Lola.

"Sure. I hope you deal with this?" The client says, disappointed, stood up, and left the office.

Adriel fired his angry look at Lola, she was different today.

"I demand an explanation for this madness." She walked to his table, hitting it, as she threw the letter on it.

"Why? Can't you read in-between lines or letters again? It said you are fired." He replied coldly, taking his seat.
