George's POV

My gaze shifted to Diana coldly, but she just stared at me calmly.

I turned towards Matt, who was being helped by his men to stand, “What did you do to her?” I asked in an almost growl, glaring at him.

Matt, who already had a blue eye, spat on the floor and returned the glare, “What did I do? She is the one who has been clinging to me since I arrived. She proposed to follow me to my quarters pretending to be drunk, and seeing that kind of opportunity, would I be a man if I were to refuse?” He barked, his face completely dark.

But I knew.

He was lying. Kyra would never do something like that. I could feel her high temperature against my body, which could not be planned, right?
