THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Karla, baby, calm down and let us think about this rationally." Ace tried to placate his wife even though he was angry, too.

"He's holding my entire family hostage, but you want me to be calm? Who knows what he's going to do to them? Ace, you and I know your brother is deranged." Ace couldn't even take offense at that because it was true. Aiden was not sane, and there was no telling what he might do if he decided to be difficult.

Barely two hours ago, Ace and Karla were having dinner to celebrate her birthday party. They didn't even set out to be a party, but as more maid or pack members came to wish her well, the living room downstairs slowly filled out with pack members. Karla couldn't turn them away, so she begged the kitchen to quickly come up with fast food for the guests.

Soon, someone started to sing a song, and someone was passing alcohol around. There was nothing wolves loved more than food and alcohol. It would take a long time before they got dru

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS    CHAPTER FIFTY-SIX

THIRD PERSON'S POV Karla knew achieving the purpose of what they came here for was not going to be easy. Even more so, now that Anita was now in the equation, it was going to be harder, but she still tried to hold firm. Aiden narrowed his eyes at her. "Who..." "I'd advise that you think carefully before you finish your statement." Ace said slowly. It was a threat, and he wasn't hiding it. For the first time since the four of them reunited, Ace and Aiden looked each other in the eye. Anita was stunned at how similar yet different the brothers were. She smirked when she realized that the two of them carried her curse. "You don't get to make demands here." Aiden amended his words and his tone. "You will see your family when I say so and not a minute before, you understand?" Emboldened by Ace, Karla said again. "The only reason I'm here is because you said you would release my family." "Did I?" Aiden smirked. "I said you know what to do if you want them to be released now. I didn

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS    CHAPTER FIFTY-FIVE

THIRD PERSON'S POVAce had made up his mind. The moment he stepped back into his old pack, his entire existence knew he was home. This was where he grew up, and this was where he learned everything he knew about leading a pack. It was this pack he had been dreaming of leading. He was close to achieving that dream too until his twin brother swooped in and ruined everything. He was not pained that he was not Alpha, he already knew what it felt like, but he had yet to experience being Alpha of the pack he trained for all his life.He would not give him a second chance to stop him from his dreams. He looked up at the high walls of the pack's mansion, and he immediately knew that he wanted to come back home. He didn't share his sentiments with Karla, knowing that there was a lot on her mind that didn't have anything to do with him. Her main priority was saving her family members. Nevertheless, he knew it was time, and he also knew what he was going to do. He was going to challenge Aiden.I

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS    CHAPTER FIFTY-FOUR

ACE'S POV Karla barely slept that night. She kept turning and tossing until I threatened her with not going anywhere if she wasn't properly rested."You know how unpredictable our trip tomorrow is going to be. We need to be on alert at all times. You won't be on alert if you don't sleep well.""But I have so many things on my mind." She whined."And what's worrying about it now going to do? They will still be there for you to worry about tomorrow, so empty your mind and go to sleep.""Yes, Alpha." She said in a bratty tone that made me want to roll over and spank her ass. I knew that was only going to lead to other things that would end up keeping her up, so I sighed and kept my hands to myself."Please, go to sleep, baby. We have an early morning tomorrow." I spooned her so she could go to sleep faster. After a few minutes, she was out cold, and I slept off not long after. My alarm blared, and I could swear that I just fell asleep only twenty minutes ago, but the time on my alarm cl

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS    CHAPTER FIFTY-THREE

KARLA'S POV My fondest memory was when I was sixteen. It was that age when all the girls my age were having sweet sixteen birthdays and were getting ponies, fake or not, from their families. I had been invited to a couple out of pity. I even got invited to one because my brother, Lucien, was friends with the birthday girl's older sister. Of course, I had started my training then, and I wasn't doing so well in the breast department. In fact, it seemed like I was the only girl that was still wearing training bras. I had muscles instead, like the boys, and I wore pants instead of cute skirts and tops. Of course, the boys ignored me, and the girls didn't want to be friends with the girl that had muscles instead of breasts. I tried to act nonchalant and uncaring, but I really wanted a sweet sixteen too, and I didn't know how I was going to tell my parents. I was really depressed, and I think Mother noticed how withdrawn I was getting. Her first guess was that it was a boy, hence her adv

  • MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS    CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE

KARLA'S POV When I woke up this morning, it was with a deep emptiness in my stomach, like an ache that would never be filled. A deep void that would never be filled. My wolf whimpered, and I did with it. The sound, however low, was enough to wake Ace.It was a surprise that he was still in the bed with me. He was notorious for waking up in the small hours of the morning. "Baby, what's wrong?" He reached for the bedside light. "Are you hurt anywhere? Are you in pain?""Ace, why are you still in bed?" I whispered. I would very much like to be alone to tend to the void in my heart, but I couldn't just kick him out of bed. "You don't have to work?""No, baby, not yet. It's still three in the morning. Tell me, what's wrong?""I can't breathe." I tried to explain. "Not like my lungs are closing. More like it's not enough. There's this ache in my chest that's not going away. I don't know what's wrong with me.""Sit up, baby." He urged and placed multiple pillows behind me so I could rest m
