CHAD’S POV At first, Jeff thought that the long way to alpha Robert’s pack would calm me down but he soon realized that was in no mood to play games and I was determined to fulfill my mission. CHAD’S POV When I woke up, I woke up to Amber complaining right next to me, it sounded like she was complaining about the fact that I was lying unconscious and how she should have just followed me. She was angry with me for not allowing her to follow me to her father’s pack and she was pacing up and down in the room and she couldn’t even see that I had woken up. AMBER’S POV I couldn’t bear the thought of placing everyone else in danger all because of me and the decisions that I had made. I had chosen to join the vampire coven and I had chosen to come here as a spy for them, I couldn’t risk the lives of the very people that I had intended to kill. I couldn’t even celebrate my father’s death because I was now so worried about the new threat that had been made against my life. I wanted to confront Natasha and ask her why she had chosen to betray the king that she had claimed to love so much but I decided to let her be because the perfect person to confront her about that was Chad. He was the king and she owed her loyalty to him and not me, she owed him an apology and not me. AMBER’S POV After I got out of the royal City I went back to the location where I had found my bike wondering if it was still there and to my surprise it was. They really meant it when they said there was little to no crime in the royal city. Although I hadn’t left my bike in the royal city territory. I don’t know why I expected it to not be working but I had just left it out here for so long that I didn’t expect it to have any life in it. My thoughts of the life that I had left back at the palace made me realize that I was already missing Chad and that place. I had never been to the vampire territory and I had never dealt with a vampire before so I really didn’t know what the day held for me. I didn’t know what to expect from them but thank goodness I had Jeff who had some experience with the vampire coven. He knew what their weaknesses were and he knew how to kill them. I knew that doing this with no experience or training would be hard for me but there was no time for training. CHAD’S POVWhen we first arrived at the vampire coven I was not only excited by the action that was going on everywhere around me but also because I was about to see my mate. However, I was a little worried that we may have been a little late in getting to her. While I entered the coven searching for Amber, Jeff and the others remained outside where the real fight was happening. It took a while for me to finally locate my mate and when I found her she seemed a little disorientated and seemed to not think that I was even real.it was a little funny and cute at the same time but we had to hurry and get out so there was no time for me to dwell on the cuteness of my disorientated mate.I was angered by the conditions in which they had been keeping her because Amber was a queen and she didn’t deserve to be treated like some kind of a prisoner who had committed some kind of a big crime.
