CATHERINE'S POV

I hugged my aunt tightly, seeing her leave with Lucas broke my heart a little, and I missed them already. "Lucas, I will miss you," I said as I hugged Lucas too, and he hugged me back. "I will be back, Catherine. I will come back to see you when you give birth," he assured me. I turned to my aunt who also nodded. "I will come back when you get nearer to your due date. I will come back to help you care for the babies, I promise," my aunt assured me, and I was glad. "Don't be scared, okay? Lucas and I will never leave you," my aunt added, and I nodded my head. I knew they would soon come back for me, but I couldn't deny the fact that I would miss them a lot.

Lucas smiled at me and walked toward Alpha Darwin. The two hugged each other tightly. "You've done well for me all this while. I'm happy to know you, and I'm sure you will find your happiness too," Lucas sincerely wished Alpha Darwin well, earning himself a smile from Alpha Darwin, who broke the hug and placed his tw
